Sky Skater Amusement Ride
A new line of family rides is taking amusement rides to a whole new level! The Sky Skater™ and Sky Skater Extreme™.
The rides, named the Sky Skater™ and the Sky Skater Extreme™, use a skateboard look-alike vehicle on a pivoting driven track to simulate the motion of "skateboarding in a half-pipe". The Sky Skater™ has a 40 foot long track and lifts riders over 22 feet in the air, while the Sky Skater Extreme™ is 75 feet long and lifts the riders over 45 feet in the air.

Sky Skater Extreme™
With 65 feet of tracking raising its passengers to 45 feet in the air at a 30° angle, the Sky Skater Extreme™ dives at 30mph. The passengers see the end of the track disappear underneath them before stopping and reversing direction. Imagine the track extended over a cliff or over water, which is where the passengers sense they are going. The Sky Skater Extreme™ is sure to thrill rides of all levels. (Patent Pending)

Mode of Operation:
A skateboard fashioned passenger cart slides back and forth across a pivoting track. Passengers are loaded at one end. When that end of the track is lifted upward, gravity moves the passenger cart toward the far end. As the cart moves along the track, sensors detect its position and reverse the pivoting motion of the track.
The passenger cart is equipped with permanently mounted magnetic braking system. The magnetic brakes allow for a smooth and quiet friction free feel as the passengers come towards the end of the track in each direction.
